Center Description

Center of Excellence for Data Science and Cooperative Systems is the first national research center in the area of technical sciences in Croatia. The center comprises 13 distinguished higher education and research institutions in Croatia, including eleven high education institutions from Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Osijek, and Dubrovnik, Institute Ruđer Bošković, and company Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

The Center has two research units:

Research Unit for Data Science - Head: Prof. Sven Lončarić

Research Unit for Cooperative Systems - Head: Prof. Ivan Petrović

Project team

The project team consists of more than 80 distinguished researchers who are active in the various areas of data science.
