Driver fatigue and distraction monitoring system

Project Summary

Driver fatigue and distraction are causes of numerous traffic accidents resulting in loss of human life and significant material damage, including damage to the environment. 

The main goal of the project is research and development of a driver fatigue and distraction monitoring (DFDM) system for automotive applications. It is expected that such systems will significantly reduce the causalities resulting from traffic accidents.
